This week felt like a big step forward for ValleyDAO, not just in numbers, but in momentum. Here’s what we’ve been up to this week 👇
🔬 Phlo Demo Progress
If you joined our recent community town hall, you got a first look at the results from our Deep Research Copilot. This week, Gunjan has been building the front-end to transform it from a text-based tool into a full-fledged AI-powered project management assistant.
Soon, you’ll be able to run Phlo’s research pipeline directly on your own project, giving you in-depth insights and development pathways for your biotech. We’ll begin early user testing in the coming weeks, and we’re gearing up to unveil it at DeSci London in a live, interactive workshop.
👀 Want early access? DM Morgan to join the first round of testing.

👩🔬 We’re Hiring: Entrepreneur in Residence
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial builder to co-develop a computational biology startup with us and two brilliant researchers from France.

The role will go public soon, but if you’re interested, or know someone who might be, DM Albert.
👕 Hempy Merch Is Coming
Albert, Nina, and Daniel have kicked off early business development for a Hempy-branded merchandise store, starting with hemp clothing.
This initiative will lay the groundwork for a distribution channel for the enzyme-treated hemp textiles coming later this year. It’s a major milestone in bridging DeSci research with real-world applications.
🎙️ Proof of DeSci, Episode 1: From Lab to Textile
We launched our new X Space series, Proof of DeSci, with Filippo from Hempy and Ella from Molecule. The episode spotlighted Hempy’s latest breakthrough and showed what DeSci can really deliver.

🔟 10K Followers on X
ValleyDAO has officially crossed 10,000 followers. A huge thank you to everyone in the $GROW community: researchers, builders, and supporters, who are helping shape the future of science.
It’s been a week of proof, not just that DeSci works, but that our community is growing and showing up for the future of research.
Let’s keep building. Let’s keep proving.
